Dr. Igwebuike, Maureen Nneka holds a Ph.D degree in Physics & Astronomy (Renewable Energy). She is presently a Chief Research Officer and the Head of Wind and Meteorology unit at the National Centre for Energy, Research and Development, University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

Her background education includes B.Sc. (Physics and Astronomy) and M.Sc. ( Solar Energy Physics) from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Her area of interests include solar energy physics, wind energy physics and condensed matter physics. She has publications on renewable energy issues in reputable national and  international journals. She has presented papers in International and National conference s and workshops.
